Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co was born in 1922 as a coveralls company and has since become the largest workwear manufacturer in the world.
After a while, this tough construction influenced our service industry clothing and eventually our urban clothing.
In the 1980s and 1990s, skaters chose the rugged nature of Dickies garments, knowing that it could provide them with scratch-resistant skate pants on concrete, steel, wood, and asphalt.
In the 90s, Julien Stranger and the Anti-Hero team, as well as skaters based in San Francisco, began to carry Dickies. By wearing it when skating, they made it fashionable and its influence began. Now, as long as you wear your pair, it will fit in any area where you skate.
